Fees:

Early Entries

$25/class if both web site entry form + payment are received by Thursday before the show.

$5 office is waived

NOTE: $30/class if you do your entry form on time but pay after Thursday.

Late Entries

$30/class and $5 office will be waived if you get your web site entry in before 3 p.m. Friday before the show. (Computer automatically records time of your entry.)

Post Entries

$30 per class + $5 office fee per entry (not per class – 3 classes for one entry would be $95). Post entries accepted if there is space.

Refunds for Pre Entries

No refunds for any reason unless SFC cancels the show.

If SFC cancels the show, full refunds will be made.

3 Classes per Division

1st class in each division is a relaxed “style & grace” class (!)

Firstly will be judged by faults incurred over the course.

Secondly, rounds will be timed and compared to “optimum time”.

Ties will be broken by closest to optimum time.

Optimum time will be established before the show. Our test rider will ride a horse at showhunter pace with no tight turns. So take a deep breath and enjoy!

Optimum time will be posted on the course maps.

2nd class in each division is a time first round class.

Table II, Section I Time First Round. Only one round is ridden. This round is first decided by the faults incurred over the course.  Competitors with clean rounds or equal faults are further placed according to time taken to complete the course.   

3rd class in each division is a jump off class

After all 1st rounds have been completed, each competitor that was clean in the 1st round returns to ride a jump-off course. Competitor must wait to be started for the jump-off course and must cross the finish line at the end of the course to stop the timer.

Note: Competitors going on to the jump-off round always place above those who do not, regardless of their performance in the jump-off round. Jump-off rounds are first decided by adding together the faults incurred over the course and then further classified according to time taken to complete the course.  If there are no clean 1st rounds and a tie exists, time taken to complete the 1st round will be used to place the competitors.
